Back to the grind....

Here is today's... straight from the Crossfit Games.

155lb Squat Clean and Jerk. 30 reps for time.

The barbell goes from ground to overhead, passing through a front squat in which the crease of the hip passes below the height of the kneecap. The finish position is with the arms, hips and knees fully extended, arms overhead, with at least a portion of the ear visible in front of the arm. Dropping the barbell is acceptable.

In other words. Do a squat clean, and then while remaining in the rack (high elbows), perform a jerk (either split jerk or standard) and thats one rep. Do 30 reps total for time. 155lb is managable by everyone out there, so give it a go. Post times to comments, and I hope that everyone had a great 4th.

Rx'd weight of 155lbs. 30 Squat Clean and jerks in 13:03. Pretty happy with that. Want 10's for this though, so I am going to have to get working on that. Try and string together more than 1 or 2 at time as well. Ill get there. Good job by all as well. The technical lifts (snatch, clean, jerk) are just that....technical. They ARE intuitive though. We will just have to do this the right way, and get you guys in for some skill work. No weights, just sticks, and work form. Its the only way you guys are going to get this down. Patience....
